Andrew joined FairHeat in 2022 as a Lead Engineer, working within the Operations division of the business, where he leads projects to optimise the performance of existing heat networks.
Prior to joining FairHeat, Andrew worked for E.ON. He joined in 2017 via the Engineering Graduate Scheme and worked across several sectors before settling in their District Heating division, where he worked in various roles of increasing responsibility across the Operations and Maintenance business. In his most recent role, Andrew worked as a Senior Project Engineer, leading a team of engineers to deliver metering upgrade and performance improvement initiatives across 45 district heating networks, with the aim of improving technical and financial performance, reducing carbon footprint, and improving customer experience.
Andrew has a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, and obtained Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in 2021.
