Emma recently graduated from the University of Cambridge with a master’s in chemical engineering. During her time at university, Emma won the BP Prize for academic achievement on coursework in second year. The coursework was based on a project designing a heat exchanger. Emma also won the Gilbertson prize (specific to Jesus College) in her fourth year, in recognition of high performance.
Emma joined FairHeat for a summer internship in 2021. She excelled at the programme and was particularly recognised for her research on thermal storage sizing for single lead heat source based on real world data. Emma was offered a position to join FairHeat’s Graduate Scheme and joined the team in September 2022.
I’m really excited to be joining as a graduate engineer to continue developing new skills and working on decarbonising the UK.”
