Faye joined FairHeat's Graduate Scheme in 2022 as a Graduate Engineer. She holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, which she completed in 2022.
Faye has a keen interest in sustainability and is passionate about reducing the environmental impact of industries. In 2021, she interned at Intelligent Growth Solutions, a vertical farm manufacturer based in Edinburgh, where she investigated cutting-edge nutrient sensing technologies to improve the watering system in their farms.
Faye's research work has also been recognized for its excellence. She received the Allen Associates Prize for the best Master of Engineering departmental research project. Her project, titled "Novel Approaches for Processing Air Pollution Control Residues," was carried out in collaboration with Waste Energy Power Partners. The project explored different approaches in reducing hazardous waste originating from air pollution control systems, which are landfilled in the waste-to-energy industry.
