Francesca James
Graduate Engineer
Francesca spent four years at the University of Cambridge where she studied a Masters’ degree in Chemical Engineering with an interest in the sustainability aspects of the course. Francesca gained a placement at ExxonMobil’s Fawley Refinery, where she was set the task of diagnosing problems and presenting possible solutions within several business units on site. Though Francesca enjoyed being able to apply the technical knowledge from her degree to real problems, the placement confirmed that on a long-term basis, she wanted to work for a company with a focus on sustainability, such as FairHeat.
Francesca joined FairHeat in 2021 with a keen interest in working within the sustainability sector and is excited by the opportunity to be involved in a relatively new industry that is rapidly expanding. She really enjoys being part of a team that aim to deliver innovative solutions along with the challenges this presents.
