Neil joined FairHeat in 2022 and heads up our delivery division of the business. He started his career in the British Army as a Mechanical Engineer and completed 25 years’ service. A majority of his career involved the provision of infrastructure consultancy, engineering design, project management and contract management in support of Defence in the UK, and on operations worldwide.
He has previously been employed as a Senior Project Manager with E.ON and a Project Director with ENGIE. Neil has delivered multiple residential district heating systems within London and Newcastle, city wide densification works across the whole of England and overseen repair and serving works to existing mechanical and electrical assets. He has also delivered projects on NHS sites as well as government facilities such as Whitehall and the US Embassy.
Neil is passionate about improving the energy efficiency and performance of existing systems through optimisation and retrofit. He considers safety, quality of installation and thorough commissioning as the most critical elements of project delivery. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, an MBA as well as a HND in Building Services Engineering, Prince2, APMP and NEBOSH.
