Simran studied a Masters’ degree in Chemical Engineering at University College London. She notably won the "Award for Sustainability" for her third-year dissertation on "Production of ethanol from fermentation of lignocellulosic biomass" awarded by IChemE. After graduating, Simran gained experience as an Applications Engineer specialising in catalyst technologies at Johnson Matthey.
In September 2020, Simran joined FairHeat as a Graduate Engineer. With a deep interest in sustainability, specifically sustainability in energy, Simran is excited to gain experience at FairHeat in delivering efficient and cost-effective methods of heat delivery. Simran was promoted to Consulting Engineer after completing the 2 year programme in 2022.
Simran has been pursuing her Chartership for 2 years and hopes to achieve this during her time at FairHeat.
