About the Framework
Crown Commercial Service (CCS) supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2021/22, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.8 billion – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Demand Management and Renewables (DMR) framework (RM6314) offers a convenient avenue for procuring various energy products and services aimed at supporting the public sector’s carbon net zero strategy. This framework provides several advantages, including a rapid route to market that aids in achieving carbon reduction targets. It enables access to suppliers capable of assisting with the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of demand management and renewable energy projects. Additionally, the framework serves as a market pathway for products and services endorsed by the Government Net Zero strategy and Net Zero Estates Playbook. Furthermore, it allows for direct award procurement, facilitating timely access to government decarbonisation funding.
