Two of FairHeat’s engineers will be speaking at an industry event that aims to connect women in the heat network sector.
The inaugural Connecting Women in District Heat conference takes place in London on 9th December and is designed to support and enable women working in the district heat and decentralised energy sector. It aims to share ideas and experiences and develop approaches to build the representation and confidence of women in the industry.
FairHeat’s Lead Engineer, Lina Aglén, and Graduate Engineer, Ellen Hassett, will be presenting a piece of work the organisation has developed to create a formalised internal structure around how to promote the work of women on site and prevent inequality. This work aims to enable systemic change in culture towards women working on heat network sites.
