Achudha Selva Sathish

Graduate Engineer

Achudha joined FairHeat as a Graduate Engineer in 2025 after graduating from the University of Cambridge with first class honours in MEng Chemical Engineering. During her studies, she was awarded the Pilkington Prize for Chemical Engineering and elected a Scholar of Magdalene College for her academic achievements.

Outside of academics, Achudha spent three months working on the process cooling system at a perfume manufacturing plant with IFF. This internship provided her with hands-on process engineering experience and exposure to real-time reactive design modelling.

At FairHeat, Achudha spent 9 months in the Building Systems Design team preparing residential and commercial heating retrofit design packs. In her time in Building Systems Design, she developed a granular understanding of heat networks, standards, and design principles for decarbonisation. Most recently, Achudha is part of the Quality Assurance team, working to help clients mitigate risk and comply with evolving industry standards.
