
Alister Fursdon
Consulting Engineer
Alister Fursdon joined FairHeat as a Graduate Engineer in 2023, after graduating with a first-class MEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Bath. His academic journey included a significant year-long industrial placement at Dow Silicones, where he worked with batch and continuous siloxane production, as well as steam, oil, and water heating and cooling systems. This placement provided Alister with hands-on experience in managing complex industrial processes and systems.
During his final year at university, Alister completed a research project focused on designing reverse osmosis units with an emphasis on water and energy conservation. This project underscored his commitment to sustainable engineering solutions and his ability to tackle intricate technical challenges.
Alister was motivated to join FairHeat by their vision of leading the UK’s transition to a fair, low carbon economy. He is excited to contribute to a company that not only offers excellent development opportunities but also allows him to make a positive impact early in his career.
