
Ben Sparrow
Finance Director
Ben joined FairHeat in 2025 as a Finance Director, bringing with him a decade of senior financial leadership experience across private equity-backed businesses.
Ben holds a degree in economics awarded to him by the University of Surrey in 2012 and is a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW. Throughout his career, Ben has built a strong reputation for navigating complex financial challenges, managing high-stakes transactions, and leading finance teams through periods of significant change.
Ben began his career as an auditor, specialising in SMEs and VCTs, before completing a corporate financial secondment focused on mergers and acquisitions. He later held senior finance roles in multiple private equity-backed businesses. As financial controller at EPI, Ben was instrumental in managing the company’s cashflow through the oil price cash, ensuring financial resilience during a turbulent period. He then moved on to become Finance Director at Tempcover, where he played a key leadership role in the company’s successful sale to the RVU Group, leading all sales-related financial workstreams and driving efficiencies across the business, resulting in over £1 million in savings.
Most recently, Ben worked as Finance Director at Kocho, where he was named Employee of the Year for his exceptional leadership during a challenging period. In the absence of three successive CFO’s, Ben stepped in as the de facto financial leader, maintaining quality, direction, and team morale during a pivotal year for the company.As Financial Director at FairHeat, Ben leads the company’s financial strategy, governance, and commercial planning. His role focuses on ensuring the financial health of the organisation while supporting the growth and scalability of FairHeat, as well as sitting on FairHeat’s Senior Leadership Team.
