Dan is a skilled heat network engineer, well versed in the design, commissioning and operation of communal heat networks. After studying Chemical Engineer at Manchester University, he joined FairHeat in 2016. His degree included a year in industry at the ExxonMobil oil refinery in Fawley and this background of working in large-scale industrial processes operation meant he was well placed to begin a career in delivering efficient heat networks.
As Senior Engineer, Dan has played a pivotal role in the development of the design review process, helping clients ensure networks are designed fit for purpose from the off, and is now using his skills of equipment sizing, control and commissioning, to improve existing schemes. Dan recently received his CIBSE chartership and is a qualified Prince 2 Project Management Practitioner. He is committed to improving the performance of heat networks to drive both carbon reduction and improve resident satisfaction for clients.
