Graduate Engineer
Helen joined FairHeat as a Graduate Engineer in 2024 after graduating with an MEng in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London. Helen joined FairHeat motivated by their role as an industry leader in transitioning the UK to a low carbon economy and was drawn to the collaborative and innovative environment.
During her studies, she gained hands-on experience through a research placement, learning how to commission and operate a carbon capture pilot plant. She also completed a 12-week internship in R&D at Procter & Gamble, working with the Analytical & Measurement Science team on developing in-vitro methods for new consumer products. Helen was awarded the Henry Sawistowski Travel Fellowship for her outstanding final year research project, “Thermal Conduction Suppresses Cracks in PDMS Wrinkling by Plasma Oxidation”.
“I wanted to join FairHeat to be part of the transition to a low carbon economy and join an industry leader. I was drawn by the collaborative nature and expertise of the company and am excited to contribute to the drive towards a net zero future.”
