Joel Applebee

Joel joined FairHeat in 2022 as a Graduate Project Manager, after graduating from Swansea University with a BEng in Mechanical Engineering.Joel began his time at FairHeat in the newly formed delivery department, where he played an active role in helping to establish the team’s processes and ways of working. During this period he completed FairHeat’s graduate scheme, earning promotion to Project Manager.

Before joining FairHeat, Joel spent time working in technical recruitment, an experience that strengthened the communication and stakeholder management skills that underpin his work today.

Joel now leads the end-to-end delivery of heat network projects for a range of clients, spanning full retrofits, emergency uDHN replacements and system-wide upgrades. He holds a Project Management Qualification (PMQ) from the Association for Project Management.
