Joseph Shanley

Consulting Engineer

Joe joined FairHeat as a Graduate Engineer in 2022 after earning his MEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham.

As a Graduate Engineer, Joe has gained valuable experience in district heating, working on both existing systems and new build design projects. He has contributed to city-wide low carbon district heating initiatives and conducted technical assessments for public sector decarbonisation efforts. He also worked within the Industry Standards team, focussed on aiding the development of the Heat Network Technical Assurance Scheme.

Since completing the Graduate Scheme, Joe works within the Asset Management department focussed on ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of heat networks.
