Muktadir Ahmed joined FairHeat in 2024 as a Management Accountant. Since joining the business, he has played a key role in supporting FairHeat’s financial operations, delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, strengthening financial controls, and partnering with teams across the organisation to support strategic and commercial decision-making.
Muktadir holds a degree in Accounting and Finance and has experience in financial reporting, business partnering, budgeting, and performance analysis across a range of industries. Throughout his career, he has helped organisations improve reporting processes, enhance financial governance, and provide the insights needed to support sustainable business growth and effective decision-making.
Originally from Bangladesh, a country heavily impacted by the effects of climate change, Muktadir has a personal appreciation of the environmental and societal challenges associated with a warming world. This perspective has strengthened his commitment to working within an organisation that delivers meaningful environmental impact.
Currently, at FairHeat, Muktadir supports the company’s mission of accelerating the transition to low-carbon, energy-efficient buildings by providing robust financial management and strategic insight. His responsibilities include management reporting, performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial business partnering, helping to ensure the business remains financially resilient while supporting its continued growth. Passionate about continuous professional development, he believes strong financial stewardship is essential in enabling organisations to achieve their long-term strategic and sustainability objectives.
