
Ollie Abrahams
Head of Department
Ollie joined FairHeat in 2025 and heads up the pre-construction division of the business. He started his career in 2008 as a mechanical engineer in the power generation industry in South Africa and Australia before moving into asset management and technical due-diligence consulting to the power, petrochemical and paper industry in South Africa.
Ollie holds a BSc honours degree in mechanical engineering.llie entered the heat network industry when he moved to the UK in 2018. He has previously been employed as Head of Energy with Cenergist and as Operations Manager for Vital Energi. He has been responsible for the business development and pre-construction phase for multiple social housing communal heating retrofit projects, as well as held responsibility for the O&M of a portfolio of 50 energy centres and 8000 residential apartments.
Ollie is passionate about end-user experience and how the benefits of improved heat network efficiency can be passed on to consumers. He also sees improving heat network efficiency as the easiest and most cost-effective way to achieve material building heat decarbonisation gains. In his pre-construction role, he values the importance of thorough planning and scopes of work. In doing so, this provides a springboard for the delivery team to deliver projects on time, on budget and with minimal disruption to building users.
