Richard Lovatt
Project Manager
Richard joined FairHeat’s Delivery team as a Project Manager in 2024 and has since been involved in delivering multiple retrofit projects across various areas of the country. These works tend to focus on upgrading existing buildings with particular focus given to upgrading plantrooms and completing energy-efficiency improvements within dwellings.
Richard has achieved his APM PFQ qualification as part of his professional development at FairHeat and is keen to apply his project management skills to support the decarbonisation of heat networks and to create long term value for Client’s and their communities.
Richard’s main role is to ensure that projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to a high standard. This involves coordinating contractors and communicating effectively with stakeholders including Client’s and often residents affected by works that are being completed.
"FairHeat are shaping the heat network industry and are playing an important role in trying to achieve the UK’s net zero target by 2050. This was a big factor in my decision to join FairHeat, knowing that I could play a part in supporting the decarbonisation of heating and being part of a talented and knowledgeable team. From my work in the housing sector, I have project management skills which I am keen to use to ensure projects are delivered successfully and on time. I’m also excited to promote the work done by FairHeat, to help educate residents about the benefits of transitioning to a more sustainable and efficient heating system."
